When the news was released that Nutcracker Sweet PF was selected as a Horse of Honor in 2014 by the United States Equestrian Federation, the endorsement of the Arabian Horse Association (AHA) was loud and clear: “Nutcracker Sweet PF (Undulata's Nutcracker x Ames Déjà vu) is not just beautiful, but also talented and athletic - wowing every crowd who has the honor of watching her grace a show ring.”

Owned by Juliette Dell and trained by James Stachowski, of Stachowski Farm, Nutcracker Sweet PF, known affectionately as “Peanut”, is a 2008 Half-Arabian mare, out of a American Saddlebred sire and Arabian dam. Shown in both the Open and Junior rider divisions, by the close of 2014, the mare had more wins in the English division than any other Half Arabian of the same age in history.

As a four-year old in 2012, this athletic mare became the first horse in history to win the AEPA Halcon Furniture $50,000 Half-Arabian Futurity at U.S. Nationals and is the record holder for the individual pattern work in that class, scoring 209 out of a possible 210.

Named the Arabian Horse Times Half-Arabian Saddle Seat Horse of the Year, Nutcracker Sweet PF excelled throughout 2014, with six championship titles and three more first-place finishes under her belt.

The Half-Arabian mare opened 2014 at the 59th Annual Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show, where they prevailed in the highly competitive the Half-Arabian/Anglo-Arabian (HA/AA) English Pleasure Champion Junior Exhibitor to Ride (JTR) 18 & Under, HA/AA English Pleasure JTR 15-18, and HA/AA English Pleasure Junior Owner to Ride 18 & Under classes.

In May, Jimmy Stachowski and Nutcracker Sweet PF traveled to the Ohio Buckeye Sweepstakes and NSHR District One Championships and won the HA/AA Pleasure Driving class. At the Region 14 Silverama, Dell rode her mare to Regional Champion titles in the HA/AA English Pleasure JOTR 14-18 and HA/AA English Pleasure JTR classes, as well as reserve honors in the HA/AA English Pleasure JOTR division.

Next up, at the Arabian & Half-Arabian Youth National Championship Show, the spotlight was cast on the pair who earned the HA/AA English Pleasure JOTR 14-18 and HA/AA English Pleasure JTR 14-18 Championship titles.

And if all this was not enough, in October in Tulsa Oklahoma, at the U.S. National Arabian & Half-Arabian Championship Horse Show, in a beautiful class of athletic and high-trotting superstars, Nutcracker Sweet PF, with Jim Stachowski, in the irons wore the roses in their victory lap as the unanimous pin at the top of the National Champion Half- Arabian English Pleasure class.

Nutcracker Sweet PF is sure to continue to bring home the roses in the years to come.
